Adelaide Cup 2011 Final Field – Morphettville

The 2011 Adelaide Cup will run at Morphettville Racecourse this Monday March 14th with a fully stacked entry list of 20 runners.

They will be battling out the Group 2 race over 3200m with $400,000 in prize money on offer.

The top weight in the race, carrying 57kgs, is Fast Future which has the added disadvantage of barrier 18.

The eight-year-old gelding has been in renewed form of late winning two of his previous three including a last start victory in the Launceston Cup.

Guyno is another with tremendous form winning the Mornington Cup and the Lord Reim’s Stakes in his last two outings.

He’ll carry 56.5kgs and jump from gate seven.

The top rated runner in the field is Maunatrice which was on track for five in a row until being beaten by whisker at the hands of Guyno last start.

The six-year-old mare will carry a bit less with 55kgs and drew very well with gate 5.
