Signoff has returned to racing in particularly scintillating form this time and has opened as clear $2 favourite in 2016 Adelaide Cup betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Posting nine wins and four minors through eighteen career starts so far, Signoff was a standout for Darren Weir through the 2014 Spring Carnival; running second in the Group 2 Herbert Power Stakes (2400m) and third in the Group 3 David Jones Cup (2000m) before returning to winning form in the Group 3 Lexus Stakes (2500m).

Ending his year an impressive fourth in the Melbourne Cup (3200m), the Authorized gelding was unlucky to miss the majority of the 2015 racing calendar through injury but resumed for success in the Listed Lord Stakes (1700m) on Boxing Day.

Running second in the Listed Torney Night Cup (2500m) on February 19th, Signoff will carry winning form into the Adelaide Cup after taking out the Group 3 Lord Reims Stakes (2600m) at Morphettville on March 15th.

Allocated the ideal barrier 2, Signoff has been charged with carrying a race-high 59kgs but is undoubtedly the class horse of the field.

Interestingly figuring as the only other runner currently available at Adelaide Cup odds of less-than $10, stable mate Real Love ($3.60) will also carry winning form into the feature race for stayers.

Beginning her racing career under the guidance of leading Perth trainer Adam Durrant, Real Love has been transferred to the care of Darren Weir for her current preparation.

Running third in the Doriemus Handicap (2000m) on January 30th, the Desert King mare progressed to third in the Torney Night Cup before taking out the Listed Roy Higgins Quality (2600m) over the weekend.

Perhaps requiring some luck to find a good early position from barrier 12, Real Love will be partnered by Brad Rawiller and will carry a very-manageable 55.5kgs.

Swacadelic delivered both Signoff and Real Love defeat in the Torney Night Cup and currently figures as the sole occupant of the third line of betting at generous $13 Adelaide Cup odds.

Having fast become the stable star for Warrnambool-based trainer Aaron Purcell, Swacadelic will line up for his eighth start this time in the Adelaide Cup.

Running third in the Bushnell Outdoor Products BM84 (2400m) at Ladbrokes Park on December 23rd, the Adlerflug gelding progressed to eighth in the Listed Bagot Handicap (2800m) and second in the TheShark.com.au BM84 (2406m) leading into his Torney Night Cup triumph.
